Social and Twilight Sailing

Each Wednesday evening the TYC holds a social Twilight Sail in the tranquil waters of Cleveland Bay.

Skippers enjoy a social race around fixed marks in the bay, and it is a popular activity enjoyed by both competitive sailors and social racing members being a great way to unwind mid-week.  Starts are a staggered (or pursuit style) start which sees the slower boats starting first, with the aim to have the fleet finishing within a short time of each other. A presentation is held after each Twilight sail to award placings and draw the winner of the Wednesday night members draw.

Skippers of boats nominating can view their starting times here -> Twilight Sailing Start Times - Wednesday 3rd April 2024
